Good evening everyone! Here is a little bag I made with the help of the tuturial from last week over on splitcoaststampers. I just love that site! I used mellow moss for the base and inked in mellow moss as well. I just love this wanted set as well. So versatile I think. What do you think? I think this little bag will be great for the kids at my daughters school for Halloween treats!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Priceless Thank you card

I just love this card. Last weeks tutorial on splitcoaststampers.com was a gift card holder and I just had to use the design for a card, so this is what I came up with. The base is groovy guava and I stamped the flourish in gg. Then a layer of certainly celery and so saffron, but distressed with the cutter kit (don't ya love that thing?) Then on whisper white I stamped the flourish in so saffron, the butterfly in groovy guava and the little flower in certainly celery. I wrapped a piece of certainly celery just around the ww cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in black and punched it out with the small oval punch and then punched out the large oval in groovy guava and distressed the edge of that as well. Thanks for looking!!

SWAP FLOP

Happy Friday everyone! So here is my swap flop. I joined my good friend, Dawn's Fabulous Fall Swap over on Splitcoasterstampers.com and I have been racking my brain to come up with something great. This card looked SO much better in my little brain. Needless to say I will not be making this one for her swap. I have come up with a different design, which I will post later! Thanks for looking!

Inspire...Natural Beauty

Hello again everyone! I hope you all are having a great start to your week. I just love this set, Natural Beauty. I hate that SU! retired it. I used always artichoke paper for the base and stamped print pattern in aa ink as well. Then stamped the small backgroud from the set in so saffron on so saffron paper. I wrapped the tan ribbon around the so saffron piece. I stamped and cut out the butterfly. I watercolored it using watercolor crayons and aquapainters, then adhered it with pop dots. I used the black marker to ink up just the word Inspire and stamped it on whisper white and put in one of the hodgepodge hardware frames. Enjoy!

WANTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! I am SO sorry I have not uploaded in so long. I didn't realize it has been over a month since I have posted something. Forgive me?

Here is a card for my DH's birthday today. He is originally from Texas, so I figured he would like it. He loved it! I got a little crazy with the chocolate chip ink, but I think it came out good. I used chocolate chip paper for the base and stamped the larged medallion stamp from the Wanted set by SU! Then I used a piece from the Outlaw designer series paper. I crumpled it up and tore a bit off the corner, then attacked it with the sponged and choc. chip ink. I stamped the sentiment in choc. chip on ivory and crumpled it and inked it as well. Then added the hodgepodge and hemp to the side. I stamped the horse in choc chip ink and then again without reinking, again crumpling and inking that piece as well. I also used the cutter kit on the all edges. I hope you like it! I will post more soon and not let so long go in between posting, so check back soon!!!

Here is a card a made for a great friend who helped me get my Stampin' Up! business started. This is using the French Script background on true thyme with true thyme ink. I used a piece of the hodgepodge hardware with the bee from Measure of a Life hostess set. I added the grossgrain ribbin and checkered ribbon. You probably can't tell from the picture but there is dazzling diamonds on the bee's wings. I love that stuff! Have a great day and thanks for looking!

Love this little mouse

Hello again! Don't you just love those little House Mouse guys? I just adore this one 'relaxing' on grapes. I used True Thyme for the background and stamped the dots from Itty Bitty Backgrounds in true thyme ink, then I used Eggplant Envy as my mat. I created the scallops with my corner rounder punch without the guard. I added white organdy ribbon with a piece of checkered ribbon. The image is colored in with prisma color pencils and gamsol. Enjoy!

My first blog post !!!

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be a part of the blog world! Thanks to my great friends and 'sistahs' Erica and Ashley for their great inspiration on their blogs. Their links are posted here, so go and check them out!
I just love this great little alligator from the Wild About You set from Stampin Up! The background is done using the wax paper resist technique. So much fun and so easy to do. Finally something fun you can do with an iron! It is hard to tell in the picture but I added Crystal Effects to the eyes. Hope you all enjoy! Don't forget to sign up for email updates so you don't miss anything! Thanks for visiting my blog!
